Paul McCartney Practices His French: I’m A Loser
I just ran across this 1965 Beatles performance in France. Paul introduces the song in halting French and you can actually hear the song despite the loud, enthusiastic crowd.

One day I was cruising YouTube, playing videos of various guitarists and I said to my wife " I'm just amazed that I can be sitting here watching Doc Watson's fingers for free." It dawned on me that it would be a valuable service to share these gems with other people. The videos posted here are the ones that really caught my eye.

Well, Paul’s French is just about as good as mine. I had my French in college, in the state of Maine, and with a very distinctive Texas drawl.
It was humorous but not very pleasant.

Never cared much for the Beatles songs but I still can sing a few by hert.My highschool english teacher loved it and we learned a lot of songs.He had only one hand and I can still remember the way he held the big black LP in the arm. I saw once a very good documentary on the band and the music.It was so excelent that at the end it impossible not to enjoy the Beatles!
