I share a meal that in many ways is a delicacy to us guys in East Africa.Matoke (or Matooke) refer to the plantain or plantain banana in Uganda, where plantains are a staple crop today. In Uganda, plantain apples in many cases are covered with plantain foliage and steamed until sensitive. This meal can be produced with or with no beef.
Opportunity: half an hour cooking and prep.
Produces: 2 Dishes
4 bananas that are rawcut into 3)
3 potatoes that are largecut into 4 components)
3 carrots that are largediced into larger pieces)
1 onion that is large
3 tomatoes, sliced
1 nice pepper that is greenor bell pepper), sliced
1 tablespoonful of curry dust
3 cloves of garlic, smashed
1 pepper, sliced (recommended)
Sodium, coriander, and pepper that is blackto flavor)
Kg goat beef
2 glasses of h2o
Strip the bananas that are raw slashed into cubes, spread with orange liquid, and place apart. Blend together with your potatoes that are chopped celery. Temperature oils in a pan that is large. Fry the onion, tomatoes, environmentally friendly pepper, hot pepper, and garlic along. Include herbs to flavor.
*In a different pan wash the beef and allow it to prepare without including something it aside until it completely dries then set.
Decrease temperature include the stir and meat. Include the apples, carrots, and celery. Address and simmer over lower temperature until they're sensitive and beef is totally complete. Place the heat off, garnish with coriander cover the pot for one minute. Provide matoke hot.
